Job Description

Quality Assurance

• Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Devise and review specifications for products or processes
• Set requirements for raw materials or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
• Involvement in product development and sampling stage and taking care of quality aspects of samples.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
• Inspect final output and compare Physical & visual properties to requirements
• Approve the right products or reject defectives
• Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Review client, customer, and user feedback.

Customer Complaints

• All Gemba Board updates for Internal and customer issues.
• Product Audit / Stock verification – As a part of customer complaint containment action with root cause analysis.
• External Customer Complaint Acknowledgement session with Inspectors (signed format to be maintained).
• Visual display of boards – Customer complaints, Defects gallery, OPL’s, WIP, Training Calendar, Rejection Trend, Today’s Critical list and internal Procedure.
• Meeting list of Mandatory requirements of Certifications Audits / Customer Audits / Complaint actions

Audit & Compliance Management

• Set up processes for Internal auditor, Social Audit, Customer Audit & other certifications audit as required from time to time.
• Oversee Buyer’s Third-party inspection and customer’s visit around the plant.

Administrative

• Preventive maintenance follow-up with Engineering.
• Housekeeping & general discipline on floor & Testing center.
• WIP is to be shared with all concerned daily. Maintaining the quality report in ERP as per the defined process.
